guilty pleasure

Is anyone else watching Age of Love? If you don't know (and you don't want to click on the link), it's a "reality" show similar to The Bachelor, with a twist. They have a 30-yr-old man, and he has to choose a woman from a group of six 20-yr-olds, and six 40-yr-olds. Normally, I don't watch these kinds of shows. Really. I watched Survivor for a few seasons, and I do like Amazing Race. But I always thought these dating shows were ridiculous. And this one is too, I guess. But it's interesting to see how the 40-yr-old women measure up to the 20-yr-olds. They look pretty good...and in most cases, better. Beautiful, active, athletic, and much less catty and insecure than the younger ones. Good for them. Makes me...less reticent to admit that I'm in my 4th decade of life.

That said, in the end, because he has mentioned that he wants kids, I think he really should choose one of the younger girls. BUT, I am glad that the whiney girl finally went home. I was getting tired of watching her cry every week.
